We sold £448 worth of work including cards and had 373 visitors. There were also several interesting contacts, one that might result in a London show for one artist and those things are equally as important. We also need to remember that the focus of LAN is the activity days, not selling or exhibiting - the shows should just be seen as another activity day really.
Angie Osborne wanted me to pass on her congratulations to the hanging committee for such a beautifully hung show - so well done Susie Watts, Catherine Smart, Robin Muckle, Jean Lofts and Rob Daniel. She also wished me to pass on her gratitude for being such a wonderful group to work with - she tells me that often exhibitors are so disorganised and have so many problems that she is constantly having to visit the gallery to sort things out. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and loved the space and I hope everyone felt the same.

The 'LANdmark' show was a great success with 459 visitors over the two weeks. Sales amounted to only £305 but in this current financial climate, it is hardly surprising. The gallery was an excellent venue however and will be somewhere to return to in a few years time maybe - some people may want to hire the Undercroft themselves for video installations earlier than that. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the show and think that it was a great tribute to the success of LAN.
